I have trouble with colour but this book is brilliant! It's written by Sandra Wallace with contributions from many talented British Beaders. Basically it is in three parts...the first being colour theory, the main part is colour themed pages showing jewellery made in the colour range...ie Forest glen has 5 pieces in a range of greens with a small colour reference chart with each one...the third section is a few patterns putting the colour knowledge into practice! The colour theory section is all done with beads rather than the traditional colour wheel.

I probably haven't described it well but all I can say is it a brilliant reference book!

I am referring to it now for the Dutch spiral as I know the main colour I want to use but not sure what colours to put with it.

That sounds awesome!! Especially for beading, it can encourage someone to use colors they don't usually use. I am needing to do that myself I think!
